The pub was cozy, but the price for a single night without breakfast was high, especially since the Jane Austen festival was happening at the time.

The food was ok. We were severely bitten by bedbugs. We raised this after our first night and were only offered a change of sheets. It took management over 48 hours to confirm this to us and even then we had to keep calling them for confirmation. This has meant that we now have taken bedbugs home and now have to treat our home. Really really poor response from staff and management to this and we feel as though we have been really badly treated with a total lack of respect shown to us
