“Nice and quiet place with its own specific atmosphere”

The people are nice, it’s quiet, and it’s convenient for sleeping during our road trip, but the toilet is a portaloo.

The spot right by the lake was fantastic for unwinding, taking a dip or cycling, but the accommodation fell short; the sofa and the bed were terribly uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore back, and they really need to replace them.

The lakeside spot was great, but the mattresses were ultra‑soft, so one of us slipped onto the living room couch. The cabin itself was clean, yet swallows nested under the balcony roof, leaving droppings on the balcony table and chairs, making the table unusable. Breakfast was underwhelming and hard to beat in its simplicity.

The location was wonderful, surrounded by nature – it felt like being a kid again at a camp! The cabin was huge and comfortable. It’s not exactly a negative, just an oddity for someone who hasn’t been there before: because the accommodation sits beside a lake where swimming is allowed, there are no flush toilets but “chemical” ones, following a specific procedure for each need. For our one‑night stay it was tolerable, but for more days I’m unsure if I’d manage.

10/10. We’d write even more, but out of respect for future guests… Bjorn’s cottage was amazing. Directly by the lake, the terrace view in the morning is priceless. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our accommodation. Everything was explained, the house is cleverly arranged, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen modern. And that cosmic toilet is magical. Breakfast was simple but delicious, crunchy bread and excellent coffee. Thank you so much. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer on our trip.
