“Great stay at an interesting hotel”

The common areas were lovely, the breakfast and outdoor spots were nice, and the common room with a fireplace was great when it got cold at night. The location was good, within walking distance of the Sanfransico basilica, the witches market, and the cable cars. It’s a safe area with nice restaurants and a large supermarket to the south of the hotel. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection of continental foods and a choice of eggs. We stayed in the Adriene room, which was spacious and had an extra bed; we booked a double so the extra bed was handy because the double sagged a bit in the middle. The bathroom was clean and well kept. The hot water took a while to arrive but was hot and had good pressure when it did. The staff were lovely and helpful, making for a comfortable stay. The bed was a little old and sagged in the middle, so it might be time to replace it.

“Todo el personal de recepción y servicio es de primera calidad!”

The reception staff were always smiling, eager to help, and the airport transfer coordination was friendly and punctual. The building is beautifully preserved like a museum, though the garden access could be improved by clearing the path of any construction debris.

The location is great, in a super quiet neighborhood with good restaurants and squares nearby! The bed isn’t comfortable. The bathroom was small, with a tight shower box and a very small sink that didn’t allow anything to be placed around it. The breakfast was decent, with limited bread and fruit options.
