We stayed in two of the three brick-built rooms, both of which had an odd odor and no hot water—disappointing since we were leaving at 6.45 am and wanted to shower after a long day.

Breakfast was included in the room and it was great, but I had to request extra towels and mugs/glasses for the third person, and the bedding was lacking.

It was okay, but the pub wasn’t very nice.

The hot water tank made the room oppressively warm, and even with the fan on it was too noisy to sleep; the water kept running into the toilet cistern almost constantly, adding another nightly noise issue.
