The hotel’s price and location are good. The building is old, the elevator is small, the air conditioner works well but needs cleaning.

The staff are very helpful, and housekeeping is efficient and thorough. The highlight is the excellent location, with Trader Joe’s, Target, and even Times Square all within walking distance. Unfortunately, the only downside is the strong smell of smoking on the entire floor and in the aisle, despite the clearly posted “non‑smoking” sign on every room.

The location is good, 5 minutes from 5th Avenue. The lift has a pantograph door that can be hard to get in or out of; it has a spring that closes automatically, so you have to hold the door to keep it open. Some guests were using drugs. Acoustic isolation doesn’t work—if it has one, you can hear private conversations in adjacent rooms and the corridor.
