I stayed for 12 days and several aspects of the experience were disappointing. My flight from Brussels to Naples was delayed and I arrived at approximately 2:00 a.m. I fully understand that this is a very late arrival time. However, as soon as I was informed of the delay, I had informed the owner that I would be arriving late and specifically asked how the key collection would work. I was simply instructed to collect the keys from the restaurant, with no indication of any time limit. Had I been informed that late‑night collection would not be possible, I could easily have asked a family member living nearby to collect the keys on my behalf. Instead, nobody was waiting for me upon arrival and I unfortunately had to ring the bell and wake up the owners in the middle of the night. During my entire 12‑day stay the room was never cleaned. Despite this, housekeeping clearly entered the room regularly, as clean towels were provided almost every day. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for the whole stay, which was clearly insufficient for 12 days. I had to purchase additional toilet paper myself. The room door did not feel secure, as it could be pushed open even when it appeared to be locked. I reported this issue to the owner during my stay, but never received a response. Finally, although the room was well equipped with a refrigerator, not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided upon arrival, which would have been a basic courtesy. Overall, while the property is well located and charming, the lack of basic services and amenities makes it unsuitable for a longer stay. If I were to return, I would not consider staying for more than four days.
