“Considering the all the costs might as well book more premium properties in the same vicinity.”

The beach access and staff were positive, but the place was almost rundown and clearly needed an upgrade. We ended up paying 50 % of the booking cost as a food bill, which is outrageous for two days in two premium villas. Food prices are unheard of for this part of Kerala, and the management seems to be just squeezing tourists. Definitely not recommended.

“Great boutique resort!”

Seclude Kerala Marari is a true gem of a boutique resort. Its small, intimate size gives a cozy, homely feel and the service is incredibly attentive and personal, making you feel welcome right away. The location is perfect, just a stone’s throw from a clean, beautiful beach ideal for families. A huge shout‑out to Alona at the front desk, whose flawless hospitality set the tone for our stay. Arun and Deepu at the restaurant were equally outstanding, taking great care of us and serving hearty, delicious, authentic Kerala meals we looked forward to daily. They also have a good‑sized pool that’s great for families. Will visit again!

The private beach area was a highlight, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was solid, though the fish fry at lunch left something to wish for. Check‑in and check‑out ran smoothly. The price, however, felt quite steep, and the room maintenance in villa Room#201 with its pool view was lacking. A candle‑lit dinner arranged by the property was a pleasant touch.
