“Misleading! Neglected property, which is hard to reach. Don't book.”
There was nothing to like. The property was a huge letdown and nothing like the ads. It looked abandoned, the pool was dirty, the grounds were unkept, and the beds were basic and uncomfortable. Getting there was almost impossible, especially with luggage, because you have to climb a steep, uneven uphill path and the host offered no help. It felt unsafe from the moment we arrived. Google Maps even lists the place as “permanently closed,” yet it still shows up as open. When we asked, the host said it was a mistake, but the condition of the place said otherwise. We left immediately because staying was impossible, but the host wouldn’t refund or offer any solution. The whole experience felt like a scam and left us stressed and out of pocket right at the start of our holiday. The listing is misleading and should be removed from booking sites. The Google reviews that say it’s permanently closed were more accurate than the listing. It’s odd and disappointing that this hasn’t been flagged. The host gave no warning about how hard it is to get to the property. The steep, uneven path is extremely difficult with luggage, and there was no assistance. The property is clearly not fit for rent—it’s neglected, uncomfortable, and feels abandoned. The owner seems aware but keeps listing it, showing no care for guests. That’s why it felt like a scam. This experience caused stress, expense, and disrupted the start of our holiday. I hope it gets investigated and removed.
