“Cheap stay for hikers”

The location is good and the view is nice; breakfast was decent. It was a cheap stay for a couple of nights. There was no quiet‑hours policy. The place is a hiker’s paradise near Picos de Europa, yet almost every night people were partying loudly all night, making it hard to sleep and to get up early for a full day of hiking. Usually a “quiet hours from 10 PM” rule is enforced at such spots. Decide whether this place is for party‑goers or hikers; don’t mix them. Mold was on the walls, not very healthy. The furniture was old.

Beware—there were damp issues. The location is fine if you’re heading to Bulnes, but it’s a half‑hour mountain drive from any health centre or hospital. We had an asthma attack triggered by the high humidity and couldn’t reach a hospital, so we had to move to another place and pay a lot more because we couldn’t stay here for health reasons. (Cheap can end up expensive.) The damp problem is serious; anyone with asthma or allergies should stay away. Even healthy people had to go to the emergency room the next day because of mold inhalation. Not all rooms have the same humidity, but if you’re sensitive or have a respiratory issue, don’t book here. If you’re fine, you can call ahead to ensure you get a dry room, and the location is great.

“Escapada picos de europa”

The view from the window was great, and the lady who brought breakfast was very friendly. The shower in the room I got was broken—trying to hang it was a hassle, and it made showering difficult because I had to hold it with my hand.
