“In general was ok”
The house itself was nice, but it was too far from Margate Beach—about 50 minutes by bus.

The landlords didn’t reply to messages, handed me a different room in another building, and left out towels, soap, and shampoo, so it felt like a makeshift setup.

Nothing positive to report. To get to the property you have to walk through alleys and garages full of rubbish and graffiti. The key holder couldn’t get in and had to enter from the rear of the building, which turned out to be an HMO with shared facilities that weren’t advertised. Nearby properties had high‑tech surveillance cameras installed. Needless to say, we didn’t stay and asked for a full refund.

I liked the contact with the landlord, but the location and price‑quality ratio were not great.

Clean, but the main kitchen door had no lock and the other guests were loud, so I never felt secure. The host seemed fake, like a catfishing scenario; the male on the e‑bike who met me looked like a stock photo. I left before the night because I was uncomfortable.
