The room stayed cool thanks to a solid air‑conditioner, the bathroom was spotless and the bed felt surprisingly comfy. The only let‑down was the lack of a smart TV and the fact that the space is shared with other travelers.

I couldn't find anything to like here – the whole place looked grimy, the bed was rock‑hard, and the bathroom was dotted with spider webs. There was no television, no secure parking, and to top it off the owner barged into our room without asking.

Great value for the money and a really peaceful setting. I didn’t run into any issues at all while I was there.

We booked a last‑minute night and it turned out better than expected; Mr. Durval was friendly and gave us clear directions, and our back‑of‑house room had a little balcony with a sink, table and even a clothesline, which let us eat and have coffee in peace despite the shared kitchen and lounge.
