Every day we looked forward to the superb breakfast. We regret not taking more of the delicious jam home. The pool area is fantastic and well maintained. We felt very comfortable at the Masseria. Everything was perfect.

Everything was spotless and roomy, the pool looked gorgeous in a stunning setting, and the location was spot‑on, close to Cisternino, Locorotondo and Alberobello. The breakfast was superb – a wide range of Italian specialties, homemade cakes, pastries, fresh fruit, and on‑request eggs, cheese and ham. The biggest perk was the staff; the owner and his mother were incredibly kind, gentle and attentive – a rare find.

The spot was spot on, and Fabio and his family made us feel right at home with his mom’s cooking. Nothing to complain about.

Everything was fantastic. The family were so accommodating and lovely, and Fabio couldn’t have been more helpful, from giving local recommendations to organising taxis – brilliant host. The location is great and beautiful. The food was excellent! Cisternino is a fantastic local town to have, lots of restaurants to try and less touristy than some areas in Puglia, which we really appreciated. The only issues were: 1) the air conditioning in the room wasn’t amazing, which made sleeping a bit tricky at times. 2) While the masseria food was fabulous, I wish the restaurant had been open a bit more (Friday and Saturday only). I wasn’t aware of this before booking, and it changed our holiday plans from a mix of eating at the masseria (with wine) and driving to local towns for dinner (with no wine), to eating out most evenings. It could also be that I overlooked the information/this is standard for a masseria and I am unaware.
