It was quiet thanks to a strict no‑party policy. Check‑in went smoothly for my first stay. I booked two separate dates because my guest was staying one evening and then returning two days later. The desk clerk on the first day was friendly and simply asked for my ID to confirm the booking. When I returned for the second night, the same clerk started questioning me repeatedly—asking for my driver’s license, the credit card used for the reservation, and insisting that if I wasn’t present my guest couldn’t check in. He reminded me three times, even though I had already explained the policy. He was also the same clerk who had to leave to respond to a smoke alarm in a guest room as we entered. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes while the phone rang and no security was present in the lobby, which felt unsafe with the reception area unattended.

Breakfast was decent, offering both paper and real plates. The single elevator set on each floor is far from rooms at the opposite end, which makes walking long and raises concerns about evacuation efficiency if exits are only at the far end.

They offered free laundry, but the police were always present due to fights or a gun incident. The food was awful; the light bites were mostly taco‑style and the dried chicken was unappetizing. Internet in the room was unreliable, constantly showing errors. The maids didn’t speak English. Fire alarms went off too often. Front desk staff followed inconsistent procedures. Some long‑time guests claimed they were checking out because the hotel looked good but had become too “ghetto.”
