I still feel the rural Romanian air here, like stepping back into authentic Romanian time. The place is very evocative, the people are extremely kind and eager to share their traditions. Everyone should book a stay in a spot like this!

The hosts were very welcoming, the people were special, and we caught the season of ripe plums; the hosts encouraged us to eat as much as we wanted! I’d suggest going in a group, otherwise it’s a bit awkward staying with strangers. Beware: there’s a shared bathroom! My mistake was not reading the whole description – the window in the room I stayed in opens onto a terrace (lovely terrace!) and at 23:00 we had to ask a family at the table, who were enjoying themselves, to keep it down… everything could be heard, and we were unlucky to have two “ladies” in the adjacent room who hadn’t slept since 3 am… We were there to compete in a sporting event, and we couldn’t really rest!

CASA CATERINA JURILOVCA is exactly the accommodation we were looking for! The lodging space is very clean and welcoming. The white‑and‑blue combination, typical of the area, is present here too. It feels like a glimpse of another time in Jurilovca. The hosts were well‑informed and hospitable, they welcomed us and gave us all the necessary directions for our stay in Jurilovca: info about the town’s history, how to visit the port, how to get to Gura Portiței, Cetatea Argamum and Capul Doloșman. Thank you!
