It was impossible to find the hotel in Vernazza's labyrinth. The address was incomplete and GPS tracking didn’t work. Additionally, I couldn’t reach the hotel by SMS, phone, or email.

The view was the best. The check‑in process was horrible: a 16‑year‑old checked me in, ran to the room while I tried to keep up with my luggage, took pictures of my passport and visa, and then demanded 35 euros for check‑in. The room was okay.

Do not stay here! They require you to send a credit card and tell them your arrival time 24 hours in advance or else they charge a $29 check‑in fee. I said I would arrive at 2:30 PM, then at 1 PM I asked if I could arrive at 3 PM instead, and they said yes. When I arrived at 3 PM they told me I owed the fee, claiming I didn’t respect the arrival time. A month later they charged my credit card without authorization. Management is unscrupulous and dishonest; there is no lobby, and a teenager checking me in said management isn’t even in Vernazza. They didn’t respond to any of my texts while I was checking in. The teenager was texting them and telling me I had to leave even though I had prepaid. I can’t believe they used my credit card without authorization and want to charge me a fee for a 30‑minute agreed‑upon change in check‑in time. Totally unreasonable. I caution you not to stay here.

Staying in the middle of Vernazza is something special. The check‑in should really be done early, otherwise it becomes troublesome.

The room was clean and as advertised. The establishment takes a photo of your bank card (don’t do it; we called Booking, who told us to block the card). They ask for extra fees that are not actually legal (again, don’t pay what they ask; Booking told us not to). They don’t give you the exact address, forcing you to ask someone to bring you there and then charge fees. It’s a big scam. Check all other reviews. When we booked in March 2025, the rating was about 7/10; today (August 2025) it’s down to 5/10. After your stay, the owner will send you a WhatsApp message on your personal number offering a discount for your next stay if you give them a 10/10 rating. In short, a scam that has no place on Booking. We are currently in contact with Booking to understand how this host can be listed on the site.
