The staff came across as genuinely friendly, yet I shouldn't expect the same level of cleanliness that Japan typically upholds.

The bed was huge and the TV was included; the toiletries—brush, cotton swabs, cleanser—were all there, and the bath was a bit larger so I could use the shower and toilet separately. However, the long desk had visible stains, dust was visible from the edge of the bath tiles, there wasn’t much room to spread out a suitcase, and because it was cheap the walls felt thin. The neighbor was luckily vacant, but noise from the upper floor and the entrance was audible, so only people who can sleep through it would enjoy it. The paper towels can probably be washed.

The price was cheap and the staff responded quickly after I sent a message. The place feels old and damp, the air‑conditioner remote is missing, the bathroom light keeps turning off on its own, and the slippers are old and dirty.

For me the price was well worth it, even though the location is far from the city or attractions, the drive isn’t exhausting thanks to the hills and a convenience store is nearby. The complimentary water was absolutely great. The only downside was that the place looked a bit dull.

Nothing special about the people. The room was not cleaned and was very dirty; it was so filthy I thought I would never use it again.
