“Nice room, roaming halls to find exit is a pain and we were sober”

I arrived at 2:55 and found the rooms still unfinished, so I had to wait until about 3:15 to get the keys for a room that hadn’t been cleaned. I went back to reception, where I was given a different room that was actually nice. The barn‑style door to the bathroom made us work our arms a lot, and the overall design felt like a nightmare; the staff even admitted they were lost. I left the hotel at 7 am, late to hit the road.

“Dissappointing.”

The room was spotless and the bar staff were friendly. On the downside, the A/C and refrigerator were both broken. When my wife called for fresh sheets, she was told the staff were busy, housekeeping wasn’t available, and they couldn’t help; instead, they brought us sheets and towels that were the wrong size.

“It was ok, the room was very clean, served its purpose.”

It was clean, the heat worked and the tv worked. It was spacious. The level of noise, the chair didn’t meet the counter level. It was very difficult to get a bottle of water, they said they ran out at night, no one was working at the bar past 10pm to get change for the vending machine. Then the woman found bottled water. The next day I finally got changed and the vending machine would not take it. Frustrating
