The hosts went above and beyond to help, and the breakfast and coffee were fantastic. The hotel, set in an old monastery/convent, is amazing and sits right in the old town—just be ready to climb many steps, which is typical for southern Italian towns. We walked down to the port and then back up the 80 flights of stairs.

The location is idyllic, and the view from the pool area overlooking the rooftops of the old town and the distant mountains is truly beautiful and tranquil. The staff are charming and helpful.

The old convent has been beautifully restored, filled with furniture, paintings, and relics from its time as a convent. The room itself is a bit Spartan to match the convent vibe, but it is very large. The bathroom was redesigned in a very modern style; the only slight downside was that the bed was quite hard. Breakfast was nice and the food was great. Keep in mind there are many steps inside the hotel and getting to it from the parking can be a hassle.
