“Аутенчичное местечко!”
The location is far from the hustle and bustle, which is wonderful, but it also limits access to shops and restaurants. The hotel prices aren’t high, but the menu choices are limited, giving a doubtful impression overall. There’s no beach, but the outskirts of the property offer decent views, swings among vegetation, and a small temple. A lovely girl at the front desk welcomed me, explained everything, helped in many ways, and even gave a present at the end, creating a heartfelt atmosphere. The dinner service was pleasant, the food was tasty. However, we thought the accommodation was inexpensive, only to find out there is no communal pool on the premises (we missed that when choosing). Two pools exist only in certain rooms that are very expensive, which disappointed me, and I couldn’t upgrade because all the villas with pools were booked. The property itself feels almost non-existent; walking around is barely possible. The beach is also missing, with sea farms and construction around, plus large reefs in the area, so swimming in the sea isn’t possible. A nearby hotel has a decent communal pool for less, which we discovered later. Keys were not handed out, and the locks on the houses seem non-existent, but no one tried to steal anything. Overall, it’s an interesting place to stay for one or two nights in a Balinese style.
