ROXI The Urban Residence Brussels

The hotel sits on a university campus with a very young urban vibe, though it's a bit far from the center but well served by the metro—about a 15‑minute walk, 7‑8 stops from the central station. A small supermarket is right next door and there are two snack spots nearby. It is a little far from the center, the hot water takes 5 minutes to heat, the ceiling is very high and the plaster isn’t very sound‑proof, so I could hear my neighbor snoring, but the room was nice with a view of a park.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful, and having a mini‑market right there is a huge convenience. The single room is of good size, the bathroom is simple and small but has no extraction fan. The room had several wall damages and the pillows were stained, the window didn’t close properly and cold air seeped in during day and night, and the strong smell of food filled the corridor.

“Comfortable and equipped”

The studio is nice, tidy and clean, equipped and ideal for medium to long stays; the size is adequate and nothing is missing. A supermarket and a restaurant are in the same building, and there’s a lot of coworking space, which I appreciated. It’s in a student house, so the vibe is very informal; many people circulate and some floors are not very quiet, and it varies a lot depending on the day of the week.
