The interior terrace is nice and there’s a big table in the dining room for gatherings. The house needs investment; there’s a part of the house that’s not in good condition, it should be cleaner, especially the kitchen utensils.

The house was roomy with a nice garden, yet the street noise was very bothersome and the isolation was poor. The traffic on the street was especially loud.

We stayed for a few days as a group of ten (six adults and four children) and overall we really enjoyed it. The house is spacious, with plenty of rooms that are all good size and well equipped, making it very comfortable for large groups. What we liked most was definitely the patio, which is spectacular and brings a lot of life to the house. We could use it thanks to the great weather. It also has a barbecue, which is great for group meals and dinners. The location is fantastic as a starting point to explore the area. It’s close to many tourist spots in Cantabria, like Santander, San Vicente de la Barquera, or Santillana del Mar, as well as in Asturias, with Covadonga, the Picos de Europa, or Bulnes, among others. For improvement, since we stayed six nights, we think there should be more spare towel sets, especially for such a large group. The wooden floors also creak a lot, which can be a bit annoying, especially at night. Additionally, we believe some parts of the house need updating, especially the shower on the upper floor, which is hard to regulate the temperature: it comes out too hot or too cold, with no middle ground. In short, it’s a spacious house with a fantastic patio, perfect for groups and families, but a few small fixes and updates could make the experience even better.

The location and the spaciousness of the rooms were good, but the road noise was loud; we had to sleep with the windows shut and heard people walking on the upper floors.
