There’s a CCTV camera for safety, which is nice. There’s a shared kitchen with a table, fridges, cups if you don’t have your own—basically anything you need. Extra shampoos left over from previous guests are a bit odd to use when they aren’t yours, but I’m not picky; if they’re there, feel free to use them. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge and quite spacious for me. It’s a straight 25‑30 minute walk to the city centre—no zigzag routes needed. No reception, just come in, use your PIN code, and enjoy. No fuss. The front door is a little iffy; it slams hard and can be loud at night. It definitely needs some attention on the locks, although it locks fine, it’s old.

They wouldn’t refund the £150 deposit, and the landlord’s attitude was appalling—acting like a lunatic going through menopause.
