We had an amazing long weekend at Rockwood Forest Lodge—no Wi‑Fi or internet means you just explore the surroundings. From walks to a jungle gym, zipline, streams, trails, fishing dams and more, it was a relaxing escape and we’ll definitely return.

We were thrilled with the spot—quiet, tucked away, and peaceful. The lack of TV and Wi‑Fi was a plus. Rooms were well equipped, beds comfy, and there were plenty of duvets and blankets to stay warm. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and canopy tours, and the 4 × 4 road we used was surprisingly gentle. On the downside, the shower head was terrible and should be replaced. Water didn’t drain well, pooling at ankle level. A real fireplace would have been better than the heaters.

This is a stunning cottage in the forest. We loved everything about it. Secluded but very well equipped in all aspects. Lots of space. We will be back!. No negative comments at all
