The location is excellent, close to the center and at the entrance of the village. The staff were helpful and attentive, giving us all the support we needed during our stay. The breakfast is à la carte, but it was served well. I recommend it for the value. The shower knob was defective and gave a strong shock when handled.

The lodge is run by the Pataxó people and we were greeted warmly. The rooms are simple and clean, with cement walls and native wood accents, and the breakfast on the garden balcony is a treat—especially the traditional tapioca. The staff are very attentive and the garden is spacious, but the towels were old and the rooms let in a lot of outside noise.

The view, garden, and overall location are great, and the beach is close by with a nice pergola and the river opposite. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the room was a bit small and the pool isn't very big.
