“The wedding we were there for was wonderful. This hotel was not.”
We were very disappointed upon arrival because they didn’t offer free breakfast on weekends, a detail that wasn’t mentioned in their ads. One elevator, though functional, was difficult to ride: the doors would close but the ground‑floor button was unreliable, forcing us to open the doors manually for fear of being stuck. Once, while descending from the 5th floor, my sister‑in‑law and my 84‑year‑old mother‑in‑law got stranded; they finally managed to open the housekeeping door (the back door of the elevator) and had to use the stairs all the way down. The front desk said corporate wouldn’t allow an “out of service” sign and threatened that a part was already ordered. We won’t stay there again and will likely avoid that Marriott brand in the future.
