The location is perfect for heading into the mountains—this is the last pension on the way to the top of Moldoveanu.

The dog that guards the entrance is very thin, so he’s always happy when guests bring dog food :)

The property is pretty and clean, but the phone number listed on Booking doesn’t answer; the actual number at the location is different. The photos of the grill and the sauna are just for bragging—they exist but you can’t use them for your own benefit. I tried to cancel the booking for this reason because the pictures were misleading and no one answered when I called, yet there was no chance. At 22:10 I wanted to sit in their sauna to play backgammon, but SURPRISE, they checked the CCTV and cut the power and lights in the sauna.
