The proximity to the station and buses is excellent, and the setup was great. I couldn’t fault this stay; I just wish I had more time here.

The central location and surrounding people were perfect, and everything was spotless; even the bath towel would light for you on your way out—surprise! Despite a fierce storm behind me, I still walked through the mysterious torii gate; my cell stayed dry for three days.

We appreciated the traditional room and the very comfortable beds. The location was ideal for sightseeing, and the downstairs restaurant was fabulous! The room had a very musty smell, but opening the window let in fresh air (traffic noise and rain prevented it from staying open overnight). Our room was one flight up the stairs, which we managed fine.

The location and the room were great, but you should steer clear of large suitcases because there's no space for them. The staff were absent, making it a bit confusing at first to get to your room.
