The site is really beautiful, and it was a pleasure to sleep in this gorgeous forest. Breakfast was excellent. I was probably influenced by other places I’ve stayed at before; the description led me to expect a more elaborate and somewhat more comfortable setup, but that wasn’t an issue for me, as I’m used to more minimalist campsites. The tent (large and comfortable) was set up in a private garden, with a bathroom and a cold shower a few meters away, plus chairs and tables. It would be better to bring your own light. I found the 100‑euro deposit request (which was refunded without difficulty) to be quite off‑putting; I’m not sure what clientele usually frequent this place, but as a decent, civil guest, I thought it was inappropriate. The cleaning instructions were also delivered in a somewhat paternalistic tone, emphasizing that no cleaning fee is charged, as if the high cost didn’t already include it, as in any accommodation. Perhaps this stems from past experiences.

The place was gorgeous! A tiny tipi far from the city, perfect for recharging, the meals and breakfast were truly tasty, and they even offered a local dessert. We were pampered; when my partner’s phone ran out of juice, Marianne kindly lent us her power bank, and she never hesitated to help if we needed anything. In short, you can go there with your eyes closed – Marianne and Hervé will welcome you with open arms ❤️

Marianne and Hervé’s warm, accommodating welcome made us feel cared for. The setting was a real escape, in nature with a unique lodging. The dinner and breakfast were very good. Highly recommended!
