The host made our stay a wonderful experience. She was very warm, helped us a lot, and kept our luggage after the official stay. We also booked a Halong Bay trip with Leo through the hotel, which is highly recommended. We had a fantastic 2‑day trip with unforgettable moments. The facilities are rustic, the beds are very large, and for a short, affordable stay it comes highly recommended.

The location is convenient as a starting point for a boat tour (2d1n with Cat Ba Ventures, 100 % recommendation, book on site!). The beds are comfortable, and we could easily switch rooms because our first room had mold and an odd smell. It wasn’t the cleanest place, especially the bathrooms (acceptable for 1–2 nights). The first room had mold and a strong odor, and the bedding and towels were dirty, though we were able to have them replaced.

Great value for money, the location is perfect, and the host was super friendly and helpful; I’d definitely recommend this place for a short stay if you want comfort on a budget.
