The sea stretched out right in front of us, giving the spot an unbeatable location, and at night we could watch the full moon glitter over the water, making for a truly magical experience.

Our sea‑view room was bright with a lovely outlook and the front garden felt peaceful as families played with the provided balls, yet the air‑conditioning didn’t work despite the sunshine, leaving us drenched in sweat and exhausted; the next morning we discovered the large bath was closed, something staff didn’t mention at check‑in, so we were disappointed after an early outing, and it was unacceptable that the breakfast ran out of rice and miso soup—running out of side dishes might happen, but losing the staple was not okay.

The scenery was nice and the staff were friendly, but the breakfast didn’t live up to the price and the place felt old.

The resort offers two hot‑spring baths, and the new building’s open‑air pool overlooks the sea beautifully, as does the breakfast area with the water just a stone’s throw away, while the parking lot never feels cramped. Unfortunately the Wi‑Fi crawls, the night‑gown and toiletries were tucked next to the front desk rather than in the room and were hard to locate, and the air‑conditioning wasn’t running when I first entered my room, leaving it uncomfortably hot.
