“Klein hotel met behulpzame eigenaar”
The owner went above and beyond after a double booking mistake, arranging a comfortable stay for us. He offered us a place to sleep on the huge sofa in the common area and let us use a staff member’s bathroom. We were also given a free extra night, which we unfortunately couldn’t accept. He stored our luggage, which we had on a bike holiday, in his own apartment, giving us extra peace of mind. After cycling almost 80 km, hearing about the booking error was disappointing. The owner had no fault and acted immediately, but we never heard back about the discount he offered. A minor issue: the hotel has a breakfast option but does not provide it; guests are allowed to use the space.
