The spot right by the main promenade in Split was great, and the food at the restaurant was tasty. However, checking in was a hassle, and the invoice issue stretched the time from arrival to getting into the room. Probably because the staff were all busy with diners in the evening, the problem persisted until they eventually sorted it out. The breakfast was modest, and the price felt high, even though I booked on the last day during peak season.

The location was excellent, but the room was terrible: poorly kept, hallway carpet dirty, a nightstand didn't work, towels were worn, and the supposed “city view” turned out to be a grimy, lightless courtyard. The photos on the booking site didn't match reality.

The location, right on the harbour, is brilliant. The bedrooms feel tired and could use a fresh redesign; the beds were okay but not very comfy. The price is about what I’d expect for that spot.

The location was perfect, but the breakfast relied on a printed menu that offered a very limited and poor selection. My first breakfast, on a Sunday, was especially bad, so I stuck to toast and jam afterwards. The hotel needs to overhaul its breakfast plan urgently.
