The family is lovely, incredibly hospitable and will feed you well! The village itself offers a real local experience, no tourist gimmicks, everyone is friendly and curious about newcomers. Plenty of cows and donkeys roam around. It’s ideal for hikers, the house’s backyard opens onto the mountains and you’re free to wander. You can see (and hear) the whole village. Note it isn’t on a typical Yandex route, but the host can advise on arrival and onward travel. Also remember you’ll need to pay in cash and add meals beyond breakfast. It’s inexpensive and all worth it; I’d recommend it to anyone craving fresh mountain air outside the city or a comfortable authentic glimpse into local life

Propriétaires adorables, aidant et à l'écoute. Prix un peu au dessus du standard ouzbek pour ce type de logement

A cozy spot tucked in the mountains, a lovely family house with a large vegetable garden and a pool filled with mountain water. The family cared for us with homemade meals and garden produce. We did a short hike to see a waterfall, and the whole village was happy to see us pass by! The host spoke excellent English and even drove to pick us up from our hotel in Samarcande.

We were thrilled with our stay at Spring Family Guesthouse. We’re a French‑speaking Belgian couple with a 4‑year‑old daughter, and we spoke English with the father and the girl. The hiking is a real highlight, as you can start from the accommodation on a good level trail. No marked paths, but the open terrain makes it easy to navigate. The cliffs offer great views of the Tian Shan, and along the river you can reach small waterfalls to the south and visit the village to the north. There are passes reachable on foot for good walkers, otherwise the owner can drive you there. He can organize several regional excursions. At the guesthouse you can relax in the shaded garden, and the spring‑water pool is very pleasant. The many fruit trees are freely accessible, and the temperature is milder than in big cities. We highly recommend the on‑site meals – a diverse family kitchen that can adapt to your preferences (type of meat, specific cravings, …). We ate very well for a very reasonable extra price. Portions are generous and it’s a chance to taste Uzbek family cuisine made with local ingredients. The garden is huge and the family grows vegetables and fruit; some dairy products come from their own production. They tap mountain water that is potable and excellent, and we drank only that water during our 3 days there.
