“Interesting place to visit ( helicopter tour is fantastic) but not to return.”

The restaurants were good and booking was fairly simple, but the spa was pricey for what it offered. The property itself was tiny, the kids’ pools were fine but the adult pool was unusable, and the sun umbrellas were almost always down by 11 am because of a weak breeze, leaving no shade nearby.

Beware: the hotel is undergoing renovations, yet there’s no mention of it anywhere. Prices aren’t reduced, and if you happen to be near the construction wing you’ll be blasted by a jackhammer from 9 am to 5 pm right outside your door. The manager seemed completely unfazed, saying there’s no alternative solution, which I find unacceptable for a supposedly reputable property. I’m absolutely outraged and shocked—make sure you check on any ongoing work before you book. The constant, dreadful construction noise in the middle of high season was unbearable.

The facilities and location are decent, but on the beach there are no umbrellas because of the daily wind, so you should plan for that. The adult pool is always full and unusable. Activities like canoeing are also fully booked. I can’t enjoy the beach without shade, nor can I use the adult pool or participate in activities. Paying over 1000 € per night for the room or lobby is not worth it. It doesn’t measure up to other resorts in its category, neither in quality nor in value.

“Great hotel with a lot of potential, but it clearly feels neglected for a Four Seasons level property.”

The view, the beach, and the staff were fantastic. I appreciated the adult pool service that handed you a bottle of fresh water upon arrival—such a thoughtful detail. Macana was the best server at the pool. I also liked the bar/restaurant near the reception. Nate delivered great service, the Saturday night singer was excellent, and the sushi was amazing! The breakfast buffet was also very good. Overall, the hotel feels dated and could use a refresh; the furniture needs modernizing and the gym equipment is outdated. The pool menu offered limited choices and few healthy options—tuna poke was the only one. The adult pool is also very small; expanding it would let more guests enjoy the view.
