Staff were helpful. The shower door was broken, and there was heavy dust on the room fan and clothes were covered in dust in the morning.

I had a fabulous stay in the Dowager Cottage—a standalone room in the hotel grounds—where the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food and drink were great, and it was within easy walking distance of Knaresborough’s main sights in such a pretty town.
