Beautiful serene grounds, great restaurant serving a variety of cuisines. A very short walk to the Peace Pagoda and near enough to walk to the Crane Sanctuary and MayaDevi. It was low season so there wedsnot many people around. Felt a little deserted!

The location was very handy, within walking distance of the World Peace Tower, and the building was well constructed; a bit more upkeep of the facilities and newer appliances would improve things. I dined at the restaurant for several days, enjoying the Indo‑Nepalese dishes that were quite interesting, and the Japanese set menu was surprisingly good. The staff were friendly, and I highly recommend the morning yoga class, which took place in a unique space. For a structure that’s been around two or three decades, the design shows real care. Samsad was a very nice restaurant, the young men there were helpful, and the other colleagues were great too—thanks for the few days of company! The only downside was that the equipment needed updating.

Hokke Lumbini is a fantastic location if you’re planning to visit the birthplace of Buddha. Everything is within walking distance, but you can also hop on a rickshaw if you prefer. It’s only 25 minutes from the airport, and they even offer a convenient airport shuttle service. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feature incredibly comfortable beds and a top-notch shower. It is a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary to spend a few days. The staff is exceptionally friendly; they genuinely care about how you’re doing and are always ready to help with any questions. The food is also excellent, with a variety of choices and great attention to dietary requirements. All in all, my stay at Hokke Lumbini was a wonderful experience!. Nothing
