The pension is located opposite the Madarasi ski slope; the view of the surrounding mountains and the valleys below is wonderful. Everything was very quiet, perfect for rest. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and when we arrived hungry for dinner at Hargita, they let us into the neighboring restaurant so the kitchen wouldn’t close because we were still having dinner. They gave useful tips on what to see in the area.

The place is beautiful, the breakfast delicious! The owner and his family are very friendly and helpful. The apartment and surroundings are clean and tidy.

The breakfast was very good, the indoor temperatures comfortable, everything was fine. We should have taken a room with a front-facing view; the back was a bit dark.

The owners were very friendly and polite, and the room was spacious and cozy. We heard that the view from up there could be fantastic—Brasov lights were visible at night—but we weren’t lucky with the weather, at least in the mornings, and after that we explored the area a lot. The mattress felt a bit too soft for my back, though that’s subjective. Just a heads up: if you travel in late autumn, bring winter tires. The property sits at 1800 m altitude; we had a little snow, but with winter tires and AWD we had no problems.
