Cosy bedrooms feature private bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities, TVs, and telephones, with some offering seafront views. Located 2 minutes from the Winter Gardens Pavilion and 50 metres from the Sovereign Shopping Centre, with Cheddar Gorge 25 minutes away.

We booked an amazing family room for my wife Jan and our two youngest grandchildren; they loved the night entertainment, and the food and drinks were highly recommended. The staff were all friendly and brilliant, each one taking great care of us, earning a 10/10 rating. We’re hoping to return soon.

The hotel’s proximity to the pier was a big plus.

Its central location made everything easy to reach, and the staff and facilities were excellent; as a solo traveler I always felt safe here. I can’t find any faults, and I’m looking forward to staying again next year after the refurbishment.

The hotel is centrally located, but there was no hand‑wash in the bathroom. A sign on the wall claimed the hotel wanted guests to be sustainable, yet plastic disposable cups were still in the bathroom. I wanted to have breakfast with my mum, who was on a coach trip with them, but was told we could only eat at 9 am after all the coach bookings were completed.
