“Would totally go back!”

We spent the end of August 2026 at Wanted Resort in Orșova, and my mother and I had an amazing time, largely thanks to Alis, our host, who was phenomenal—she was more like a personal welcome committee than just a host. She helped with arrival and check‑in, drove us shopping in her own car, took me to a local pharmacy when I needed medication, and kept us informed about city water‑maintenance shutoffs and other local administrative issues that visitors would otherwise miss. The location is a major plus: we were literally on the Danube, and the water taxi and boat‑tour attractions picked us up directly from the resort’s dock, with Alis arranging the bookings. After reading some negative reviews beforehand, I can say many of them did not match our experience. There are still maintenance issues, but that’s to be expected. Cleaning staff arrive every morning, rooms stay clean, hot water is available, and we were right on the Danube. Wanted Resort delivered exactly what we wanted: a clean, comfortable stay, direct Danube access, easy boat‑tour access, and exceptional hospitality. We loved it, Alis was amazing, and I would definitely return.

I liked the outdoor kitchen and the terrace with a view of the Danube. But that's about it. The furniture was old and worn out. The bathroom was tiny and didn't have a shower curtain. The air conditioning was a portable unit that didn't cool well and was super loud. The pool was dirty and unkempt. The "private parking" was a joke, with only three spots for a place that can accommodate way more guests. And honestly, a lot of the pictures they posted don't even show what the place is really like.

“Oribila experienta !!!”

I had the worst room at this place - zero view, just a wall of a storage room 2 meters away with fridge units next to it. It felt like being in a closet. The bathroom was a nightmare, with trash cans right under the window and a bunch of cockroaches. The electrical setup was DIY and sketchy, with exposed wires everywhere. The heating was a UV panel on the ceiling, which made no sense. The room was dirty, with cobwebs and stains on the curtains.

My room was really nice, big, and well-equipped. The balcony had a great view of the Danube, so I got to enjoy some peaceful evenings and nice sunsets. We didn't need breakfast because there was a coffee machine and a big fridge. The pontoon by the Danube was a nice touch. The staff was super welcoming, especially since we arrived pretty late. My only complaint is that there was no shower gel.

I loved the location - right on the Danube River. But my room had some spider webs, which wasn't great.
