The room was spotless and the mattress was great—nice and firm. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely cold, and the thermostat didn’t work to adjust it. The sink drained very slowly.

The staff were great and friendly, handing us water right when we arrived and fixing problems fast. I had an issue with the AC on the first night—it made the room smell like mold—so they swapped us rooms the next morning when I mentioned it. The area had been hit by heavy rain and flooding before we got there, which even damaged their fire suppression system and caused the fire alarm to go off every hour or so; it was out of their hands and they sent apology letters once it was fixed. The location was fantastic and the boys loved the pool! The only gripe was that the windows weren’t well maintained; there was an old wasp nest between the glass and screen in my room, so I really wanted to open it 😅—a small complaint, haha.

I slept well, but the free breakfast was lacking.

The beds were comfortable, but the pool was tiny.

Everything turned out far better than I expected, and the location is the greatest!
