A lovely hotel tucked among apple orchards, perched high in Völlan with a view of Lana. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, even during busy moments, and the food was excellent. A summer air‑conditioning unit would have been nice.

A wonderfully styled bathroom and a balcony offering a wide distant view. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms were freshly renovated, the bathroom was exceptionally beautiful and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The terrace was great and dinner was very good. The reception was totally messy and chaotic, giving a poor first impression. The stairwell was stuffy with an unpleasant food smell; ventilation and scented sticks would be necessary. The room was overheated upon arrival—why can’t they open the window before guests arrive? The breakfast table was more like a pension level than a 4‑star, uncovered pastries were infested with flies, no fresh rolls were offered, and those rolls were later served in the evening menu. The pool was too far away to take a quick swim.
