“Grand Hotel with Elena”
This was our third visit and it was again wonderful. Elena, the host, and her two dogs—especially Jack, whom we love—made everything special; it’s something you only understand by experiencing it yourself. During breakfast, Elena asked what we wanted to do and checked with friends if the weather at the end of October was safe for a mountain trip. If you’re unfamiliar with Italy or Lake Como, Elena will guide you! It will fascinate you. One small note: Elena’s B@B is a bit up the mountain, so check that beforehand. No reason for a lower rating. There was simply nothing to complain about.
