The location was awesome with a view of St Augustine from our deck—there was even a shark in sight! The homemade breakfast was delicious and hearty. We also enjoyed the evening social hour. Walking over the bridge straight into downtown was a treat. The staff were welcoming and it was a great place!

I keep coming back because the spot is unbeatable—loving the views, the vibe, and the warm welcome, especially when Sue is around. The evening socials and the breakfast casserole each morning add a special touch. It was quiet in late September, which was perfect for me. Watching the sunset from the deck by the water or from the breakfast and social hour room is unbeatable. Sue was a delight and gave solid suggestions that fit our itinerary, so we’ll definitely return to the Edgewater Inn when we can. The beach is a short drive away, and you can walk across the bridge to Old Town without parking hassles—quaint and spot on! The downside is that I got swarmed by no-see-ums after dusk, and it seemed like more anglers were nearby, making noise outside while I was trying to enjoy the scenery.

The free breakfast was excellent. The happy hour was a very nice touch. There was an odor every time you walked into the room but once you were inside you could no longer smell it
