The lodge is simple, a bit older, but clean, comfortable and matches what’s advertised. The bed is comfy, and even though the room lacks air‑conditioning, the fan was enough for the two nights we stayed. The garden is very pretty and tree‑shaded, giving a calm, quiet and pleasant setting. The fact that the lodge doesn’t host children added to the tranquility throughout our stay. Breakfast is basic and just meets the needs of those spending the day at the waterfalls, but could be better prepared. The tapioca and scrambled eggs could improve, as could the taste of the coffee and juices. The issue isn’t necessarily variety, but the quality of preparation. I also highlight Luiz’s attentiveness, who always asked if everything was fine with us and the room. The location is great, right at the entrance of Alto Paraíso, with easy access to the center, São Jorge and other areas. The lodge met what we needed and we would definitely return.
