We spent our time in two roomy bungalows that were super comfy, each with an outdoor shower and spotless. The restaurant served great food for both breakfast and dinner, and the management were very helpful when we needed a driver for our outings.

We chose this place and regretted it. The listing says it’s only a 15‑minute drive to central Kuta, but that’s false; the trip goes over steep mountain roads and long stretches of muddy dirt, and our taxi from Kuta actually took almost 40 minutes. The property sits in a very isolated spot with no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so every meal meant a trip out. Walking isn’t practical; you have to ride a motorbike, and the steep mountain roads have no street‑lights after dark, which made riding dangerous and we fell on one. Booking taxis to or from the hotel is also hard, so getting around is severely limited. During our 3‑night stay there was no housekeeping at all; no staff came to collect rubbish and we had to take out our leftover food waste ourselves. Several room facilities were broken: the toilet seat was damaged and one bedside lamp didn’t work. Wi‑Fi was spotty and very slow. We also had power and water outages, which the staff said were affecting the whole village. The food at the hotel is cheap but bland. Minor facility defects could be tolerated, but the misleading travel‑time claim and the remote location ruined our holiday. I’d not recommend it to anyone who isn’t comfortable riding a motorbike.

Le jardin était luxuriant, la chambre spacieuse avec rangement et une terrasse sympa, le personnel était agréable et disponible, et on pouvait louer un scooter sur place. Cependant, la salle de bain avait besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement (la lunette des toilettes était dans un état déplorable et devait être rénovée d’urgence, la robinetterie du lavabo nécessitait une fixation à revoir, et le ménage pendant le séjour était réduit au strict minimum). En ce qui concerne la zone de restauration, malheureusement les chiens errants qui se promènent entre la plage et le village ne sont pas chassés et viennent perturber les repas.
