It was very quirky, a lovely riverside spot, and the owner was very pleasant; he offered a good breakfast with plenty of options. The property was very cluttered, there was dog mess in the garden, the shower was not great, and it took a long time to get hot water.

It was a unique stay in our tower room on a perfect location (Firenze, Chianti route, Mugello, …); the garden was beautiful and the breakfast fantastic, and Claudio was a very pleasant host. The tower room can only be reached via a narrow spiral staircase.

The owner’s welcome made us feel right at home; the breakfast was gargantuan, and the garden was peaceful for rest. Beware if you’re allergic to dust – it’s an old manor.
