“Scammed and stressed about credit card security”
Proximity to town. No catering no shower literally noisy aircon single sheet on double bed toxic smelling room sprayed with an allergy inducing spray. No record of our booking credit card charged ( scam of some sort going on either the establishment or listing has been hijacked by scammers collecting payment . Booking . Com need to vet their listing more thoroughly not for me to check out . If the hotel ( resort😂) is listed I should be able to trust . Paid cash to secure the room should have got a receipt but was more concerned with the security of credit number I didn’t think to insist on receipt and so booking . Com won’t help . Rang the bank and cancelled card . All that for the failure that is evident . And I suggest that it was something knew is happening because an unusual warning appeared in my messages after making the booking . In hindsite I should have immediately cancelled the booking so payment didn’t happen . Once again on a supposed secure booking site such thoughts aren’t immediate
