“Heimelig, aber sehr außerhalb der Zivilisation”

The staff is very friendly, the beach and pool are right outside the door, you can use a kayak for free, and guests staying longer get a complimentary airport transfer; rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are provided, though the ladies throw away the daily piled‑up trash each morning. Overall, the current staff gives a somewhat family‑like vibe. The resort is very remote, so visiting nearby towns (for a decent pharmacy or a meal) requires a taxi, and the road to the resort is in terrible condition with huge potholes, causing moped‑taxis to usually refuse the app and taxi drivers to sometimes not find the route or cancel the job. That can be sorted out fairly well, and if needed the manager will arrange a taxi. The menu is very clear, and you shouldn’t rely on the photos when ordering, but the wait times for food are unusually short.

The beach is very beautiful, pristine, suitable for a long stay, but it’s also very untouched.

“Bien mais peu mieux faire”

The beach and pool are good, and the rooms are fine even if they’re simple, but breakfast is poor in the Booking package: you get a hot drink or orange juice and a small snack. The orange juice isn’t fresh fruit but an unpalatable industrial bottle. The access path is long—1.5 km—and hard to navigate (sand, stones, holes, even a snake). The kitchen is average, not up to local standards; no Vietnamese people eat here and the service isn’t very professional or pleasant (smiles are rare).

It’s convenient that the hotel has its own sea and a beach without crowds, but there was no kettle even though it was advertised. The sink in the room didn’t work; water dripped in a thin stream straight onto the floor. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. Dining options outside the hotel are scarce; you have to drive 5 minutes on a dirt road to the hotel. It’s quiet, but at night a rooster crows and dogs bark loudly; for the price, I don’t feel there’s any service.

The sea and beach are fine, the food is decent, and the staff is good, but the property and rooms need more thorough upkeep.
