“Expérience”

The owner’s welcome was adorable. We shared an exceptional life experience with Paulino like never before (a whole evening of conversation where we learned a lot about Costa Rica and the family’s ecological project). The exchanges with the owner were wonderful – he is cultured, caring, and also very funny. The traditional ethnic meal from Paulino’s tribe was served. The property is located in the middle of a jungle mountain, the comfort is rustic but the absolute quiet was especially appreciated! The nature was beautiful, and the common areas were nicely and rusticly furnished.

“Spannend und lehrreich”

The cabin was simple in line with the atmosphere; the drive is only possible with all‑wheel drive or on foot. The common area was comfortable with hammocks, tables, and chairs. The food cooked by the owner was very good. The real highlight was the wealth of information on ecology and culture. Paulino and his wife are extremely warm and willing to share their knowledge; Spanish skills are an advantage. After a walk of about 1 km through the forest, you reach a river with lovely bathing pools. Staying there was a highlight of our trip.
