The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel sits right in front of the sea, which is fantastic. Breakfast was good and the facilities were solid. However, there is no iron in the room—only a laundry press—so if you need to iron clean clothes, you’re out of luck. Also, the apartment has just one door card; if you want to separate with family or a friend, you have to ask reception to open the door for you.

“Mauvais rapport qualité prix”

L'emplacement est bon et la vue depuis la chambre est belle. Encore faut-il pouvoir en profiter, ce qui n'a pas été notre cas (voir ci-dessous). Nous avons payé un supplément pour une chambre avec balcon vue mer, mais le balcon était totalement vide, sans rien pour s'asseoir, et de surcroît sale. Lorsque nous sommes descendus à la réception pour demander des chaises, en faisant remarquer que les photos publiées sur Booking en montrent clairement, on nous a répondu qu'il s'agissait d'anciennes photos qui n'étaient plus d'actualité. En droit français, ça s’appelle un dol. Payer un supplément pour un balcon inutilisable n'a aucun sens. ( voir photo booking vs realité) Le ménage était mal fait : marques au sol et poussière. La chambre présentait aussi des défauts pratiques : une seule table de chevet, une prise éloignée du lit, et une porte qui ne fermait pas correctement (il fallait tirer fort pour la fermer). Le petit-déjeuner est principalement asiatique, ce qui est normal au Vietnam, mais la qualité n'était pas au rendez-vous comparée aux autres hôtels de notre séjour. À titre de comparaison, nous avons séjourné à Hô Chi Minh-Ville pour le même prix dans un hôtel où le service était d'une grande qualité, le personnel très accueillant et la propreté sans commune mesure. Le Balcona ne soutient pas la comparaison. Nous ne le recommandons pas à ce tarif. Le balcona hotel ne vaut absolument pas 4*. C’est une usine avec 20 étages et seulement 4 transats à la piscine

“Great location let down by minor issues”

Perfect location with great sea views. 2 minutes walk to shops, bars and beach clubs. Booked a Balcony Executive Premier Double Sea View with Afternoon Tea. Previous hotel booking have ment we got afternoon tea everyday but not at Balcona. We booked 7 nights but were only allowed afternoon tea once. If you booked one night you would get same benefit as someone booking 7 nights. Nowhere did it say you only get afternoon tea once. Only 1 keycard due to hotel policy. If you booked one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel you would expect 2 key cards for a couple. Very awkward txing the Mrs to see if she is in or even awake. Had to wake many times just to get in my own room. The pictures on booking show table and chairs ain’t balcony. When we asked where they was they just provide stools now so they need to upgrade hotel pics. What we found were to boxes which is not acceptable whe. You need a back rest. Credit card not given back to me after check in. When I realised I didn’t have my card 45 minutes later I went to reception to retrieve my card were I was told they did not have it. After further insistence they much have it they miraculously found it amongst keycards and random other cards. When I saw my card they said it wasn’t mine. They realised their mistake and offered us a voucher for 2 half price drinks was laughable maybe saving me £2. We travel on 3 holidays a year every year and this is the worst review I’ve ever given I’d rather not mention the bad aspects. Instead of offering a worthless voucher maybe a free spa for the Mrs would have been more appropriate. Ultimately cost you nothing but repays confidence in your customers. On a postcode the little birthday cake was much appreciated. All reception staff and door staff in general were very friendly
